Brotherhood

Maintaining a strong bond of fraternal fellowship is vital to making the fraternity successful. Brotherhood is a main pillar, and through intramurals, field days, and study hours the fraternity grows as a whole and lifelong friendships are made. The fraternity also holds boys and girls night where the actives will break into two and have LAN nights, get pedicures, or any other activity that is decided upon.

Professionalism

Throughout the year, we serve not only our members, but the greater engineering community by hosting informational sessions, resume critiques, mock interviews, and presentations on a variety of topics. Guest speakers from the University or companies in the area often speak at meetings giving insightful advice. The fraternity also educates its members on how to handle the career fair, how to dress appropriately for all professional situations, and briefs the actives on internship experiences from other members.

Philanthropy

One of the three main pillars of Theta Tau is service, and throughout the year our brothers look forward to giving back to the Bryan, College Station community at large. Theta Tau proudly participates in Big Event, which is a city wide service day. Stem nights are also a fun area for Theta Tau actives to give back to the community in a science and engineering related field. We go to local elementary, middle, and high schools and host science related activities. Actives also do park clean-ups which entail going to a park and helping move brush, or picking up trash, then when the park is cleaned the fraternity members usually play soccer or frisbee to enjoy their hard work.
