Rush for the Xi Gamma chapter takes place at the beginning of each fall semester when Theta Tau recruits prospective members. Before rush we have a booth at the MSC open house, tailgates before home football games, and will be set up at tables around campus to help distribute information about Theta Tau. During the process, there are also social events designed to give "rushees" further insight into the chapter and meet active members to find out if Theta Tau is for them. During rush, students are encouraged to attend as many events as possible. At the end of the rush period, the members of Theta Tau choose who will receive an invitation to continue on to the pledge process. There is NO obligation to pledge just because you attend rush events.
If you need Help getting to any events off campus, please contact Amy Hughes at (817)917-9850 and she will gladly coordinate with an active to get you a ride! Afraid you will forget about an activity? Text @thetatau17 to 81010 to receive reminders about all Theta Tau rush events!
